Excellent food and service. Have followed these owners through each of their ventures in cafes, restaurants, etc always with quality results. Have already recommended you guys to friends and family and have had similar feedback.My wife and I enjoyed some beautiful grilled fish, calamari, potato cakes and chips. Everything cooked perfectly and the sauce worked a treat too.I always say that the one thing a fish and chip needs to do well is hot chips and you guys delivered. Perfect size chips, soft potato in the middle with nice light golden crisp outside. Definitely cooked in good oil.Thank you and we will be back for more (lots more) shortly.
Ordered for six when it came out it fed seven! Large portions freshly cooked. Thick chips! Fast service. They accommodate for your needs. Friendly service. Fantastic chefs! Job well done. It was 40 degrees outside but inside had a cool breeze blowing. Casual seating. Takeaway or sit down same price.
Bought grilled flathead tails tonight, very very disappointing. $20 worth equaled 7 pieces no bigger than a small finger. I am unable to post the picture I took on this site, and I am unable to find anywhere else to review this place, but it shows a normal size flipped out car key and the key is twice the size of the pieces of fish. I am a local and I am aware of the size of a flathead fillet as I often buy them from the Co-Op and grill them myself. To say I was ripped off was an understatement. When I spoke to the girl working she was unable to help me as she does not set the prices and the poor thing was slammed as she was the only one working in peak season!As I said, I am local and will NOT return or recommend his place to any of my friends and family.
Id heard their burgers were delish just tried one today & oh my!!!! Everything fresh & full of flavour! Will definitely be back
Flipping delicious! The battered flathead was golden and crispy. So light! My grilled flake was juicy and beautifully seasoned. The little salad that came with it was a nice surprise! The chips were proper golden. Not fluro or pale yellow. Proper, crunchy golden. Highly recommended
